Before jumping into a new semester, we took some time to assess the six Wednesday Gathering pilot sessions from this past fall.

Overall, those gatherings were a success, but we’ve made some changes that will allow us to do both church-wide fellowship and theological training even better than before.

03 Family Devo

A pastor will lead us through a short family-style devotional that’s focused on engaging the kids.

  • The Wednesday Gathering is for everyone — adults, students, and children. It’s for the membership of Cities Church and all of our friends (just remind them to register too).

  • Yes. Please register for you, your family, and your friends so we can plan for food and seating.

If you plan to bring your own food, make sure to select that option during registration.

  • Dinner costs $5 per person, up to $20 per family, and is required upon registration.

However, if you bring your own food, registration is free.

  • We will do our best to provide Gluten Free and Dairy Free options for the provided meals.

Please indicate your needs during registration by adding a ‘medical note’ or a comment. You are also welcome to bring your own food!

  • This new format is designed to replace a community group night. Your life groups should function as usual.

  • No — everyone will stay together since it’s just a meal together.

  • We felt that having church-wide fellowship and a lecture in the same event was too much to do in too little time.

By splitting them, we hope to allow for deepened fellowship and training by allotting more time for each – separately.

  • We will continue our TCI: Theological Foundations training in a separate weekend seminar format. Look forward to more details about these coming soon!
