Student Christmas Party

Dear Students,

The incarnation was the most significant occurrence in the history of the world up until that point, and deserves deep reflection. Please join us from 5:30-9:30pm on Saturday, December 14 to remember why Advent is significant — to steep ourselves in the reality that we really could hold God in our hands. Furthermore, we’ll build fellowship over a shared celebration of Christ coming into the world. See the FAQs below for more info.

Grades 7-12: Join us for this exciting and worshipful evening where we will have a Christmas feast, multiple competitions such as an ugly Christmas sweater contest and a Christmas dessert making competition (there will be prizes), a White Elephant Exchange, snow ball fights, Elf the movie, and a message on the significance of Advent!

Invite your friends too and make sure they register—the deadline is December 13.

We’ll meet in the Chapel (upstairs).

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are having an ugly Christmas sweater contest, so that would be a good place to start. And if yours is the ugliest, you get a prize!

    Also note: if there is snow, we will be spending time outside, so dress appropriately. That includes hats, gloves, coat, boots, maybe snow pants if you are feeling ambitious.

  • No, you do not have to, but you totally should! The more people who bring festive desserts means more delicious treats to try, so do us all a favor and bring something. And if your dessert is the best, you will win a prize. If you don't feel quite up to the task of making a dessert, you can ask your parents to make something for you – we won't judge.

  • $5 limit if you go out and purchase something for the exchange. Alternatively, your gift may be an item from home, but make sure to wrap it. In other words, please don’t wrap your gift in a translucent Target bag.

  • 1. Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest: $20 gift card to Scheels.


    2. Christmas Dessert Contest: $20 gift card to Chick-fil-A.


    3. Christmas Trivia Contest: $5 gift card to Dunn Brothers Coffee for each member of the winning team.

  • Elf! A Christmas classic and absolute must during the holiday season.

  • Absolutely! The more the merrier. Just make sure they RSVP before the deadline on December 13.
